# FEEDweave receives 5000 DAI grant from ARCA DAO
I am excited to announce that FEEDweave has received a small grant from [ARCA DAO](https://medium.com/@vilenarios/arca-first-impressions-257c0670ed91), an community-run Arweave development fund whose mission is to improve infrastructure and foster adoption of the Arweave ecosystem.
The FEEDweave community development team will use the funds to add new functionality to the social network.

The grant will be used to fund implementing three FEEDweave Improvement Proposals (FIPs):
* [FIP 1: Comments support](https://github.com/feedweave/feedweave-dev/issues/1) (Completed)
* [FIP 2: Editing support](https://github.com/feedweave/feedweave-dev/issues/2)
* [FIP 3: Upvote support](https://github.com/feedweave/feedweave-dev/issues/3)
These features have been enthusiastically requested by the community since the launch of FEEDweave and will go a long way towards improving the user experience and usability of the platform.
Expect upvoting and editing to land in the next few weeks, along with more announcements coming shortly after that!
